Carole was last week (and this)
Cakes & Ale -Three Country Dances - HT&E - Eriskay -Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
And never "so last week".
Anne warmed us with "large Gin'n'tonic" - you know the one, a lot of liquer listed - and some singing of chromatic scales, interestingly difficult.
Elinor revised Cakes and Ale , singing through against recorded tracks, first the two part version then the three. She went on to tackle the fourth and last line of Three Country Dances and we tried doing it against other lines. Feels a hard one still, but a good challenge and nearly there.
Swapping MDs, Anne did Here, There & Everywhere, Eriskay Love Lilt and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, each with newly populated bandlab tracks recorded by new Chorovino contributors.
We'd love to see more such contributions. It's a very good way to feel more involved, to feel together with other singers, and to work on one's singing, as well as useful for accompaniment and guide.
Anne got us thinking too about what we should do for our next video. General response was to avoid the 10 minute sagas and confine ourselves to the usual three minute bite-size length. Suggestions? (Helen likes the idea of our throwing sticks to each other, screen to screen.)
Smashing to see Sophie managing to be with us on screen. Sorry we had to do without seven of us - too much work going on! - and thank you Nicky for voicing such positive thoughts about our journey so far.
