Ave Verum - Tallis Canon - Lean On Me - Sylvie
Warmed up Ave Verum to a recorded piano track and the Tallis Canon to (against/with) Elinor's recorded singing.
New Anne arrangement Lean On Me, score only, learned in sectionals then sung ensemble (!) with Bandlab recorded tracks supplied by Anne, Rachel and tonight's guest star, Mike Edge (known to several of us and the Man in Shiraz). Thank you Bill Withers.
For dessert, revived Bring Me Little Water Sylvie.
Anne suggested doing Sylvie with percussion as per the US Navy Band and also the idea (Rachel has experience of this) of our putting together individual recordings to make one glorious sound and vision gestalt. There was nearly resounding enthusiasm. If Gareth can....
